Every stage of the project was brilliant. The way MFS interpreted our design brief ensured the playground space is successful beyond anything we could have imagined. The whole process was a labour of love and care for MFS and the result is a unique structure that provides challenge for all the children.

It has been a joy and pleasure working with MFS right from the very beginning…. the genuine realisation of the children’s designs… The quality of the build work, the team were lovely people and they took the time to talk the children through all stages of the process. It’s something the whole school have all been part of and the final result is just perfect.

We had struggled to find the perfect playground designers having had companies from all over England visit us for a quote. Just as we were going to settle for a pretty average playground, MFS was brought to my attention and they couldn’t have been more perfect.

Crafted Details

When we have visitors to the school, the first thing they mention is the impressive play equipment, there’s many positive comments. The children are loving the opportunity to take risk, and the children are managing risk themselves. My expectations of the children has changed, I used to be worried about the height of the playground equipment – but the children have grown in confidence. The process has positively changed the way I look at childhood.

The opportunity for the children to feel more physically confident has a knock on effect in the classroom, they are more resilient, they are risk takers, and in the end they are more confident learners.
